This seafood boil includes fresh prawns, lobster, clams, crab, potatoes, corn and sausage, all boiled in a savoury broth. A magnificent one-pot meal that’s ideal for
serving a crowd.
Ingredients
Lemons, old bay seasoning, garlic, onions, potatoes, corn on the cob, lobster tails, crab legs precooked, smoked sausage, shrimp Kpeeled and deveined, butter, chopped parsley.
Note: Old bay seasoning is a mix of celery salt, paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cloves.
Recipe
Cut 2 lemons into quarters.
Keep the lemon wedges from the
remaining lemon for garnish.
Pour cups of water into a
big pot. Add the two quartered
lemons, Old Bay seasoning, garlic,
and onion to the water. Bring to
a boil.
Cook the potatoes for 8 minutes in the pot.
After adding, simmer the lobster tails for 5 minutes.
Cook for 5 minutes with the crab and corn.
Cook for another 2-3 minutes after adding the prawns and
sausage.
Reserve 1 cup of the broth
after draining the seafood mixture
from the pot.
In a small bowl, melt the butter before whisking it into the reserved broth.
The broth should be poured over the seafood mixture.
Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges, if desired.
Add more Old Bay flavour to taste before serving right away.
