Job: What Does Visa Sponsorship Available Mean?

Visa sponsorship available means an employer is willing to obtain a work visa for highly-qualified candidates who live outside the United States.

To be eligible for visa sponsorship, employers must show that they were unable to fill their vacancies with qualified American workers.

The H-1B visa is the most common documentation for foreign workers with specialized skills, but there are also visas for seasonal workers in hospitality and agriculture.

These visas are temporary and must be renewed regularly.

When an organization sponsors a work visa for a new employee, they help complete the application, prepare labor certification paperwork, and represent the petitioner for the visa.
