Nahuche made the disclosure while addressing newsmen in Gusau, adding that there were some people behind the fabricated rumors against the former governor, and the association knew that Yari had at no time ever discussed or thought of denouncing his APC membership.  He alleged that, among the front liners  trying to intimidate and politically debase Abdul'azizi Yari were Jigawa State Governor Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar and Kebbi State Governor Atiku Bagudu, as well as the interim APC chairman, Governor Maimala Buni of Yobe state.

 The Zamfara State Patriotic Association led by Alhaji Ibrahim Nabature Nahuhce has refuted rumors that former Zamfara State Governor, Alhaji Abdul'aziz Yari Abubakar has defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

 Nahuche made the disclosure while addressing newsmen in Gusau, adding that there were some people behind the fabricated rumors against the former governor, and the association knew that Yari had at no time ever discussed or thought of denouncing his APC membership.

 He alleged that, among the front liners  trying to intimidate and politically debase Abdul'azizi Yari were Jigawa State Governor Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar and Kebbi State Governor Atiku Bagudu, as well as the interim APC chairman, Governor Maimala Buni of Yobe state.

 The chairman of the association, Alhaji Ibrahim Nabature, added that the APC faction of Abdul'aziz Yari, led by Lawal M. Liman, was in court challenging Maimala Buni's decision to unconstitutionally dissolve the party leadership.

 Alhaji Ibrahim stated that as the people of Zamfara State, "we pray for Allah's intervention to restore peace to Zamfara State.
