On this historic occasion marking 20 years of Your Eminence’s reign, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and profound respect to His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, CFR, the Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.
Your Eminence, two decades on the throne represent not merely the passage of time, but a remarkable journey of service, responsibility, sacrifice and steadfast commitment to the Sultanate, the Muslim Ummah and the unity of our beloved country, Nigeria. Your leadership has continued to uphold the dignity of the Sokoto Caliphate, strengthen the bonds of our community and promote peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths and backgrounds.
As Walin Sokoto and a descendant of the noble heritage of Sheikh Usmanu Danfodiyo through the lineage of Isah Mai Kware (Autan Shehu), I offer these felicitations with deep reverence for the institution of the Sultanate and the enduring values of faith, justice, knowledge, humility and service upon which the legacy of our forebears was established. The responsibility of leadership is a sacred trust, and Your Eminence’s twenty years on the throne stand as a significant chapter in the continuing history of that trust.
Your Eminence, at this milestone, I pray that Almighty Allah continues to grant you sound health, long life, divine wisdom and strength to discharge the enormous responsibilities of your exalted office. May He continue to guide your counsel, bless your efforts towards the advancement of Islam, strengthen your commitment to peace and unity, and grant you the grace to lead with justice, compassion and spiritual fulfilment for many more years.
On behalf of my family and in my capacity as Walin Sokoto, I congratulate Your Eminence on this memorable anniversary. May the Almighty preserve the Sultanate, protect the heritage of our forefathers and continue to make Sokoto a beacon of faith, learning, peace and moral leadership. Barka da cika shekaru 20 a kan karagar mulkin Musulunci da al’ummar Sokoto. Allah Ya ƙara lafiya, hikima, nisan kwana da ɗaukaka.
Congratulations, Your Eminence. May Allah continue to preserve and guide you.
