Senator Tambuwal lost a brother in Sokoto
Sen. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal mourned the loss of his brother, Alh. Ahmad Ibrahim Tambuwal, who passed away yesterday in Abuja after a brief illness.
In a statement, Tambuwal said, “Late Alh. Ahmad was more than a brother to me; he was a dear friend and trusted confidant.”
The funeral prayers were conducted at the Palace of the District Head of Tambuwal Local Government, and Alh. Ahmad was subsequently buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
Among the dignitaries who attended the funeral were the former Governor of Zamfara State, H.E. Mamuda Aliyu Shinkafi, former Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, H.E. Manir Muhammad Dan’iya, traditional rulers, religious leaders, political associates, family, and friends.
May Allah grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
