To the Executive, the Judiciary, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),
You reside in a house built by the sweat of the electorate, yet you seek to pull down its pillars. You eat from the table of the Republic, yet you poison the well from which the people drink. There is a profound irony in leadership that enjoys the protections of a democratic constitution while systematically dismantling its safeguards.
The recent maneuvers regarding the African Democratic Congress (ADC) leadership are not mere administrative errors; they represent a calculated executive interference aimed at narrowing the political space and assassination of internal democracy:
A. The Script of Subjugation.
The sudden, biased interpretation of court orders by INEC directly following the high-profile defection of figures like Rabiu Kwankwaso, reeks of political desperation.
B. The Dagger of INEC.
When a regulatory body stops being an umpire and starts acting as a scriptwriter for the ruling party, it ceases to be Independent. Using technicalities to stifle a growing opposition is a brazen act of democratic amputation with Mr. Amupitan as the butcher.
C. Legal Fetters.
By ignoring the substantive leadership of the ADC in favor of state-sponsored factions, the Commission is committing a procedural illegality that mocks the doctrine of stare decisis and judicial precedent.
The Courtroom Must Not Be a Political Shrine.
The Judiciary must be warned!!!
The temple of justice is not a laboratory for the evil of destabilization of Nigeria. When the gavel falls in favor of impunity rather than the Constitution, the court loses its sanctity. You cannot invoke the law to kill the spirit of the law.
Democracy is not a gift given by the government to the people, it is a right the people temporarily entrust to their leaders. That trust has been breached.
A Warning from The Soldiers of Conscience!!!
Be informed, the Nigerian people are the ultimate Soldiers of Democracy. While you may hold the keys to the armory and the treasury, we hold the moral mandate.
- We see the kidnap of our institutions.
- We see the ransom being paid in the currency of our future.
- We see the tyranny masked as governance by democratic liars of our time.
We will not stand by as the Constitution is treated as a draft for your convenience. We will protect the soul of Nigeria from the dagger of a compromised INEC and the shrine of political judicialism.
Write it and keep it, democracy must be saved by any legal and moral means necessary.
Comrade IG Wala,
As one of the Soldiers of Conscience!
