Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has commended members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state for their overwhelming support and endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Governor gave the commendation shortly after the Presidential Primary Election held in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday, where President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recorded a sweeping victory across the 21 local government areas of Kebbi State.
Governor Idris described the massive turnout and peaceful conduct of the exercise as a clear demonstration of the confidence reposed in President Tinubu and the APC by the people of Kebbi State.
“We in Kebbi know only one President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The President has done a lot for our people by complementing the efforts of the Kebbi State Government and ensuring that the state benefits immensely from his administration,” the Governor stated.
He recalled that Kebbi State was the first in the country to publicly endorse President Tinubu for a second term during the grand rally held at Haliru Abdu Stadium, Birnin Kebbi, adding that the successful conduct of the primary election had further strengthened the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Governor Idris expressed appreciation to APC members and supporters for their loyalty, unity, and peaceful participation in the exercise, assuring them that Kebbi State would continue to stand firmly with President Tinubu and the APC.
He noted that the smooth conduct of the presidential, governorship, National Assembly, and State House of Assembly primaries in the state reflected the maturity, unity, and organisational strength of the APC family in Kebbi State.
