Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has paid a condolence visit to the former Governor of Rivers State and Vice-Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), His Excellency Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, at his residence in Abuja following the passing of his beloved mother, Mama Mary Amaechi.
During the visit, Senator Tambuwal described the late matriarch as a woman who lived a fulfilled life devoted to her family, humanity, and the service of her community.
“This is a loss we all share. Mama Mary lived a fulfilled life, dedicated to her family and to the service of her community. She will be remembered for her compassion, humanitarian contributions, and the positive impact she made throughout her lifetime,” Senator Tambuwal said.
Leading a delegation of ADC stakeholders from Sokoto State, Senator Tambuwal prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and asked Almighty God to grant the Amaechi family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He also prayed that God would comfort the family and grant Mama Mary Amaechi eternal rest in His infinite mercy.
