INEC REJECTS OSUN APC LOGISTICS GIFT, VOWS LEVEL PLAYING FIELD FOR ALL CANDIDATES
Credible news indicates that Osun APC led by top leaders of Oyebamiji’s campaign organisation visited Osun state INEC in the dead of night on Thursday, offering logistics and funding support for the commission.
Eye witness accounts noted that APC governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji was part of the delegation alongside other top leaders. The team said they visit to affirm support for the commission ahead of August 15 polls.
After making their submission, the APC team was reported to have dropped sacks of bags suspected to contain huge sums of funds to the commission headed.
The witness reported that the state’s electoral commission chief immediately rejected the gift offer, telling the APC team the commission does not accept cash or gift in kind.
