The stakeholders were the Nigerian police force, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA, Wai Brigade and the Media.

The director National Orientation Agency Jigawa State office malam Shuaibu Karamba Haruna has called on the key stakeholders to put more effort to sensitize, educate and mobilize Nigerians to shun drug abuse and other related vices. 

Karamba also advise them to educate the general public to adapt responsible attitudes as well as to reduce economic loss occasioned by vandalism using various constituencies.

He then urged the stakeholders to give maximum cooperation in the course of discharging the various responsibilities with a view to achieve the desired objectives. 

Karamba stated this during a stake-holder's engagement on national security sensitization and reorientation programme against political Thuggery, Kidnapping, Drug addiction, radicalization and violent extremism held at NOA conference hall federal secretariat Dutse on Thursday.

The stakeholders were the Nigerian police force, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA, Wai Brigade and the Media. 

On his remarks, the representative of the NDLEA Abubakar Garba Alhaji Said Women are fully involved in drug abuse and is alarming rate because of the danger behind it. 

Garba Alhaji then called on the community members to report any crime and violence that is taking place in the community.

In his remarks, the DPO Dutse Division, CSP  Dahiru Mahmud who represented the Jigawa state commissioner of police, said that police are working round the clock to see that all crimes and violence are being curtail.

He said drug abuse is a mother of all crimes.
