The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kebbi State, Ahmed Idris, has said the Kebbi State Government remains committed to promoting unity, reconciliation and collective responsibility among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Ahmed Idris said the commitment was reaffirmed during a meeting between the State Special Adviser on Political Matters and Power, Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant, and members of the APC State Executive Committee at the party’s State Secretariat in Birnin Kebbi.
According to him, Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant emphasized that unity remains the foundation of the party’s continued success and urged members to strengthen their commitment to peace, mutual respect and cooperation at all levels.
The Special Adviser particularly appealed to members who were unsuccessful in previous party primary elections to accept the outcomes in good faith, trust in the will of Almighty Allah and put aside their grievances in the broader interest of the party and Kebbi State.
He maintained that lasting political success could only be achieved through forgiveness, reconciliation and a shared commitment to the ideals and objectives of the APC.
Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant also commended the Acting State Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Adamu Mudi Augie, and members of the State Executive Committee for their dedication, leadership and sustained efforts toward maintaining unity and cohesion within the party.
Responding, Alhaji Adamu Mudi Augie expressed appreciation to the Special Adviser for the visit and words of encouragement, reaffirming the unity of the party and expressing confidence that the APC would record another resounding victory in the 2027 General Elections, by the grace of Almighty Allah.
The Acting Chairman further conveyed the appreciation of the party leadership to the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, for his unwavering support and commitment to strengthening the APC across the state.
He disclosed that the party leadership had successfully concluded a statewide tour of all 21 Local Government Areas of the state, describing the exercise as a significant step toward consolidating unity, deepening grassroots engagement and reinforcing the stability of the party.
Ahmed Idris said the APC-led administration in Kebbi State remains committed to promoting political harmony, inclusive governance and sustainable development in the interest of all citizens.
