Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State have pledged to work together to ensure the party’s victory in the 2027 general elections, declaring zero tolerance for disunity and anti-party activities.
The stakeholders also resolved to work in synergy to secure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the victory of the party’s Bauchi State governorship candidate, Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar, SAN, and all other APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
They further adopted the slogan, “APC Sak” (APC from Top to Bottom), as their political position ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued on Thursday and signed by the Chairman of APC Bauchi State Chapter, Alhaji Muhammad A. Hassan, said the resolutions were reached at a meeting of critical APC stakeholders in Bauchi State held in Abuja on November 4, 2026.
The stakeholders said strategic decisions were taken in the interest of the party and all its candidates.
The statement disclosed that the meeting was chaired by former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, who represented the party’s leader in the state and Minister of Health, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate.
“With gratitude to Almighty Allah, the APC Bauchi State Chapter has successfully held a meeting of critical stakeholders led by the Honourable Minister, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, who was unavoidably absent but duly represented by Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara as chairman of the meeting,” the statement said.
Those in attendance included former Bauchi State Governor and the party’s 2027 governorship candidate, M.A. Abubakar, SAN, his running mate, Hon. Farouk Mustapha, as well as all APC candidates for the Senate, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly.
The statement added that other critical stakeholders, including aspirants who contested the party’s governorship primary, also attended the meeting.
However, it said apologies were received from Amb. Yusuf M. Tuggar, Dr. Bala M. Wunti, Dr. Nura Manu Soro, Senator Abubakar Maikafi, Senator Salisu Matori and other prominent party members who were unable to attend but communicated their absence.
According to the statement, participants agreed to put aside their differences and work collectively for the success of the party and its candidates.
Among the key resolutions was a commitment to support President Tinubu, Abubakar and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections, particularly in Bauchi State.
The stakeholders also resolved to resist all forms of disunity and anti-party activities, stressing the need for unity and collective commitment among party members.
They reaffirmed their position under the slogan, “APC Sak” (APC from Top to Bottom), declaring that there would be no deviation from the party’s political direction.
The party chairman commended all stakeholders who attended the meeting and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
