The Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has successfully completed the issuance of visas to all intending pilgrims from the state for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The Executive Chairman of the Agency, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu Yaro (Jagaban Gwandu), who was represented by the Director of ICT, Alh Faruku Jabbo announced the development while briefing officials of the agency in Birnin Kebbi.
He said the achievement was part of the agency’s commitment to ensuring smooth and timely preparations for the holy pilgrimage.
According to him, the early completion of the visa process will allow pilgrims adequate time to finalize other necessary travel arrangements ahead of their departure to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He commended the support and cooperation of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) as well as the staff of the agency for their dedication in ensuring that all documentation processes were completed without delay.
Alhaji Faruku Jabbo also urged the intending pilgrims to remain law-abiding, attend all scheduled orientation programmes, and pray for peace and development of Kebbi State and Nigeria during their stay in the holy land.
It is a joint committee from ICT and operation Departments work tirelessly to throughout the week.
The Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency reaffirmed its readiness to provide necessary guidance and support to the pilgrims to ensure a successful and hitch-free 2026 Hajj exercise.
