Peter Obi went for the official declaration and defection to the ADC by Olumide Akpata, former labour party governorship candidate of labour in Edo state.
He was attacked alongside other ADC chieftains in Edo state.
This is not good for our democracy and should be condemned by well meaning Nigerians.
Opposition parties must be allowed to carry their constitutional duties and must be allowed to enjoy freedom of movement and association including public gatherings.
