Zamfara NSCDC Commences One Week Refresher Training To The  Agro Rangers Corps

The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Zamfara State Command, Commandant Sani Mustapha has declared the One Week Refresher Training of the Agro Rangers Corps open at the  State Command's Headquarters Gusau, 

Commandant Sani Mustapha said that the refresher training has become imperative as the Corps is making adequate preparation towards ameliorating  the wave of insecurity in the state.

This was contained in  a statement which was signed and issued to newsmen by the Command's spokesman Ikor Oche SC in Gusau,

The NSCDC Boss in Zamfara State,  Sani Mustapha opined that the Agro Rangers Corps which is a special marshal of the Corps trained to mediate between farmers and herders, will be instrumental in the consolidation of security and peace in any community cleared of brigandage by the Nigeria military.

He said the Rangers will be playing a complementary role to the military in the eradication of insurgency in local communities. 

The NSCDC Boss described the operations to be embarked on by the Rangers at the end of the training  as consolidation operations 

The Commandant who lauds the innovative tactics of the Commandant General, Dr Abubakar Ahmed Audi,mni OFR in tackling insecurity in the Nation, insists that Zamfara  State Command is ready to Compliment his effoH.

He posits that the Agro Rangers Corps which is a brain child of the indefatigable Commandant General  is therefore set to carry out its mandates in Zamfara state.

The NSCDC boss therefore enjoined the Rangers to take the refresher training seriously and be dedicated to whatever drill they are to do.

He therefore assured the Rangers of the commitment of the State Government to create a conducive working environment that will facilitate their effective service delivery.

The refresher training which is to last for one week, will  be concluded  with a robust Passing out Parade of which His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Zamfara  State, Dr. Lawal Dauda is expected launch the operations in  a grand style.

Uniforms and accoutrements have been issued to the Rangers in readiness for the consolidation operations.
