Zamfara Lawmakers Impeache Deputy Governor Mahdi Aliyu Gusau
Making the announcement, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mu'azu Magarya said, the legislative arm while discharging its constitutional responsibility, did not leave any stone unturned in order to be fair in its investigations before arriving at the impeachment. He said, the assembly has now declared the office of the deputy governor of the state vacant. Recall that, Zamfara state chief judge Hajiya Kulu Anka, after recieving complaints from the state legislators, set up seven man committee to investigate the embatle deputy governor.

Zamfara state House of Assembly has today, announced the impeachment of the state Deputy Governor, Barr. Mahdi Ali Gusau.
This followed hearings set up by the law makers on allegations of abuse of office by the former deputy governor.
Making the announcement, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mu'azu Magarya said, the legislative arm while discharging its constitutional responsibility, did not leave any stone unturned in order to be fair in its investigations before arriving at the impeachment.
He said, the assembly has now declared the office of the deputy governor of the state vacant.
Recall that, Zamfara state chief judge Hajiya Kulu Anka, after recieving complaints from the state legislators, set up seven man committee to investigate the embatle deputy governor.
The committee headed by chief justice Haladu Soba rtd, invited the Deputy Governor but he refused to appear before the committee.
The committee after two days on sitting submitted it's reports, to justice Kulu, and later today the State House Of Assembly announced the inpeachment of the state deputy governor Mahdi Aliyu Gusau.
