Zamfara Gov's Wife Sponsors Education Of Boy Who Vows To Avenge His Father's Murder By Bandits

Zamfara State Ministry of Women, Children and Social Development will sponsor the education and welfare of a 6-year-old boy whose video was trending on social media.
The child was recorded expressing anger and grief over the killing of his father by bandits and vowed to take revenge.
This was made known by the Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Development, Dr. Nafisa Muhammad Maradun while briefing newsmen on the steps taken by Zamfara state government to assist the boy.
The commissioner said that the First Lady, Hajiya Huriya Lawal has directed her to find the boy and his mother so that they can be supported.
"The boy is now receiving counseling from specialists to improve his life and thinking in order to avoid what may arise in the future" the Commissioner has explained.
"We even supported the child's mother with capital to start a business to ease her pain."
On their part, the boy and his mother thanked the wife of the governor Hajiya Huriya Dauda Lawal and the commissioner for the kind gesture.
