Zamfara Government Commences Reconstruction Of 5 Cut Off Bridges In Some Local Government Areas

The Zamfara state government has today commenced the reconstruction of some Bridges that were cut off in some of its local government areas.

 
The Bridges to be reconstructed include Tofa and Gungume Bridges in Dansadau district of Maru local government, Bardoki bridge in Gummi local government was also cut off, and is going to be reconstructed.
 
Others are, Nasarawar Burkullu bridge in Bukkuyum and Ruwan gora bridge in Talata Mafara local government areas, 
 
This was made known to journalists by the Commissioner for Rural Development and Cooperatives, Alhaji Abdullahi Gurbin Bore,  during an inspection of the One Brigade cantonment access road project embarked upon by the state government through his ministry in Gusau .
 
He said the purpose  of the quick response by the state government is to ease transportation among the benefitting communities.
 
He added that already the state government under the leadership of Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle had approved the release of over N700 million for the commencement of the whole project through direct labour by the ministry.
 
Gurbin Bore added that, when the projects are completed it will give the benefiting communities access to travelling most especially during this season.
 
He called on the benefitting communities to safeguard the projects when completed, to bear it in mind that the present administration of Governor Matawalle is doing everything possible to bring dividends of Democracy from the state to ward level.
 
The commissioner was accompanied to the site by the permanent secretary of the ministry Alhaji Nasiru Galadima, state project coordinator Qs Attahiru M Tambari, the director of finance and supply Alhaji Ibrahim Garba.
