Zamfara Gov, Elect Inaugurates 60 Member Taking Over Committee

Zamfara state governor-elect, Alhaji Dauda Lawal Dare has today performed the official inauguration of a 60 member taking over committee under the chairmanship of the former inspector-general of police Alhaji M.D Abubakar.
Lawal emerged as governor of the state on the platform of the Poeples Democratic party (PDP) in a landslide victory to exit the incumbent APC administration lead by Hon. Bello Muhammad Matawalle during the last general elections.
In his inaugural speech at the occasion, the governor-elect Hon. Dare stressed that the conceived rescue mission of his incoming administration will recieve top most priority in running his government.
He tasks the committee to work in accordance with the conceived rescue mission policy of the new government to emancipate the citizens from the socio-economic bondage, which is further compounded by the lingering insecurity.
Dauda said members of the committee were carefully selected based on strong belief that they are personalities of unquestionable character, with good trek record of performances in thier various endeavours.
He said his government has reposed high confidence in the composition of the committee and remains rest assured that it will work hard to expose every issue that will help the incoming government to start on a reliable springboard.
In his response, the chairman of the committee, Mr. M. D. Abubakar gave the governor-elect the assurance that his committee will not fail the people of the state, stressing that he is aware of the high expectation laid on his committee by the government in particular, and the people in general.
