Zamfara Cattle Dealers To Collaborate With Security In Fighting Cattle Rustling

The Zamfara state chapter of Cattle dealers association has said that it will collaborate and work hand in hand with the security agencies in the state to arrest anybody found selling rustled cattle in the state.


The chairman of the association comrade Aminu Garba Gusau made the revalation today shortly after their inauguration as new executives in Gusau the state capital.


He said, already their members are law abiding and anybody found wanting shall be arrested and hand over to the security agencies in the state for necessary action.


According to him they will not give room to any ousider that will come and collaborate to sell rustled cattle in any Kara market accros the state.


"We have our members in each and every Kara market in the state who are monitoring who and who bring his cattle to market for sell, if they see anything worthy of suspicion they will alert security attached to that market.


"And we must make sure that anybody who bring Cattle for sell we take his picture and the picture of his Cow or Bull, and have his permanent address.


"By doing so i dont think a rustled cattle would be sold in any  legal Kara market, this is how we can generate revenue to the state government.


 According to him, they are ready to give all security agents in the state the maximun cooperation they need when ever the need arises.


Comrade Aminu Garba also assured the state government of their association's support in the fighting agaisnt cattle rustling, kidnapping and any other form of crimes in the state.


He thanked those who witnessed the inauguration ceremony and promised that he will carry every one along for the progress of the associon.


Highlight of the occasion include presentation of award to the desrving zamfara indigenes who in one way or the other gave their support to the association.
