Zamfara ADC  Flaggs Off Medical Outreach To Over 200 IDP's

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Zamfara state chapter has flagged off medical outreach to over 200 internally displaced persons(IDPs) and less privileged persons at Saminaka area of Gusau metropolis in Zamfara state.


Speaking during the Flagg off ceremony held today at Saminaka area of Gusau, the state ADC chairman Comrade Kabiru Garba  said, the idea was to provide free drugs to persons with different categories  of patients who were displaced as a result of insecurity  in the state. 


He disclosed that ADC in the state  was disturbed with situation of IDP's  and less privileged persons, stressed that medical personnel were employed to examine and prescribe drugs that would be  given free.


This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen in Gusau, by the party publicity secretary Comrade Abdukarim Umar Lihidda.

According to the statement, the  medical outreach was organized by ADC  to compliment some donors   agencies and philanthropists individuals in an efforts of providing free health care to less privileged people.


Comrade Kabiru said medical personnel and consultants were engaged for the programme, adding that, available drugs were also procured and free food would be distributed to patient.


The ADC state chairman therefore called on people to support their  party in the upcoming 2023 general elections at both Federal and State level for more development.


In his remarks, the ADC candidate Gusau/Tsafe Federal House of Representatives who is also a health personnel,  Aliyu sani Tsafe advised IDPs to always clean their environment and use mosquito net in the night.


According to him, healthy environment contribute to healthy living, added that it was advisable to use hygienic drinking water and take regular bath.
