The Sinking Ship Of  PDP In Zamfara: APC Again Has Been Vindicated

By Aminu Abdullahi Gusau

The resignation and subsequent dumping of the opposition PDP in Zamfara by its vice chairman and recently acting chairman, Professor Kabiru Jabaka using the exact words 'lost focus,' as since used by the APC is certainly a vindication of what the ruling party been saying against the sinking ship of the PDP.

This was contained in a press statement signed by APC publicity secretary, Alhaji Yusuf Idris Ardo and made available to newsmen in Gusau, the state capital.

The statement added that, not very long ago, the PDP suspended its chairman in the state, retired Col.Bala Mande over high-handedness among others and Prof. Jabaka acted in the chairman's absence, now, Jabaka too is aggrieved as things are not going well as the leaders and the party's Flagbearer in the state, Dauda Lawal Dare have thrown out the "Nigerian Constitution, the party's constitution and decorum," to the winds and 'shrinking' the party largely into the APC in the state.

It is a well known fact that while all APC stakeholders and particularly the state leader and governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle has remained in the state with the good people of Zamfara, the PDP flagbearer is only a visitor to the state, who only shows up briefly from time to time, spreads some money around, believing that's what the people want and goes away just like he did at the just past Sallah festival by sneaking in on Sallah day and leaving on the fifth day.

Unhappy with his attitude of brief stay in the state and only seeing people in the state capital, the youth of Tsafe had to burn the PDP candidate's campaign T-shirts, swept and washed their streets after Mr Dauda passed on his way back to Abuja when he threw out the campaign T-shirts from the moving vehicles of his motorcade.

We however want to assure the people of Zamfara that the APC will continue to cherish their goodwill and unrelentingly work for their benefits.
