The Madaki of Gudi: Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka express his gratitude to Emir of Gudi

The Yobe State chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, has on Saturday visited Emir of Gudi, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Isa Bunuwo Ibn Madubu Khaja, and express his gratitude for conferring the traditional title of Madakin Gudi, at his hometown, Gadaka of Fika local government area.
In a statement issued by Hajiya Sa'adatu Maina, the Press Secretary to APC state chairman, said that, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka together with the Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Hon. Ahmed Mirwa, the Governor Buni's Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abdullahi Yusuf Gashu'a, other members of state House Assembly and senior government officials.
The Chief of Staff, on behalf of Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, thanked the Gudi Emirate Council for conferring traditional title of Madakin Gudi on Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, said this is an testamony and honor that is deserved to appreciated.
In his part, His Toyal Highness, the Emir Gudi, said the Madaki traditional title is a legacy of Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka's family and he deserved it.
"Our hope is that you will continue with these good deeds that you are doing to the people of Gudi Emirate and Yobe state as a whole. As a good son of the soil, you will work hard to bring the son and daughters together of the Council for development of our great Kindom."
"Also, we want to convey our request to Yobe state Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni to rebuild this palace because it needs to be expanded."
In his address, the new Madaki of Gudi, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka express his gratitude to Emir of Gudi, for this honour done to him personally, his family, friends and political associates.
Gadaka assured to be a good ambassador of the people and Gudi Emirate Council, and will use his new office as Madaki of Gudi to foster unity, protect and promote the norms, values and culture of the Emirate.
The APC chairman give his donation of N20m to the Gudi Emirate Council to start the building and expanding the palace.
