Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the celebration of Eid el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a message shared on his official X account on Friday, Tambuwal expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah (SWT) for granting the faithful the opportunity to complete the month-long fast, which he described as a period devoted to supplication, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

He prayed that Allah accepts the fasts, prayers, and all acts of worship carried out during Ramadan, while urging Muslims to sustain the virtues imbibed during the sacred month.

According to the former Governor of Sokoto State, the values of discipline, sacrifice, compassion, and obedience nurtured during Ramadan should continue to guide the conduct of individuals and communities beyond the fasting period.

Tambuwal also called on Muslims to remember the less privileged during the festivities and to recommit themselves to building a more just, united, and compassionate society.

He further emphasised the need for continued prayers for Nigeria, noting that peace, stability, and national progress remain essential for the country’s development.

The senator wished Muslims a joyful Eid celebration and prayed that the occasion brings peace to homes and prosperity to the nation.
