Sokoto State Government is reviewing Bond with its sponsored Students

State Deputy Governor Alhaji Idris Mohammed Gobir stated that while receiving Executive Members of Sokoto Professionals who paid him a courtesy visit.

Alhaji Idris Gobir said the new Bond would ensure that such students spend 15 years serving the state before deciding to move to anywhere they choose to work.

The Deputy Governor said the measure is aimed at ensuring that such students give back what they have benefited from the Government.

He also appealed to the Association to assist in providing career guidance to state indigenes to pursue courses that offer strong prospects and equip individuals with essential skills.

Alhaji Idris Gobir  expressed the state government's desire to partner with the Association for the attainment of the set objectives.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Association Engineer Zayyanu Tambari Yabo said the Association is a non partisan and dedicated to supporting indigenes in the pursuit of professional courses.

Engineer Zayyanu Yabo told the Deputy Governor that the Association has trained a number of indigenes on Leadership, Entrepreneurship and ICT.

He assured of the Association's readiness to partner with the Government for the development of the State.

The Chairman later presented the Association's Newsletter And a Plaque to the Deputy Governor.
