SENATE ADJOURNS PLENARY OVER THE DEATH OF HON. ABDULKADIR DANBUGA

The Senate, on Thursday, adjourned plenary over the death of a lawmaker in the House of Representatives .
Hon. Abdulkadir Danbuga 63, who represented Isa/Sabon Birnin Federal Constituency of Sokoto State, died earlier on Wednesday in Abuja.
At the upper legislative chamber today, the Senators observed a minute silence for his demise.
While receiving condolence from his colleagues, His Excellency Senator Aliyu Wamakko described the late Danbuga as a gentleman who showed a lot of zeal and patriotism, adding that he will be sorely missed for his compassion.
"It is devastating to receive the news of the demise of Hon. Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga at this time that his people need him most" Wamakko added.
He also prayed the Almighty Allah to grant him Aljannat Firdaus, as well as give his family, people and Government of the state, the fortitude to bear irreplaceable loss.
