SEN. WAMAKKO SYMPATHIZES WITH PEOPLE OF TANGAZA  OVER RECENT BANDITRY ATTACK IN SOKOTO

 

Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sarkin Yamman Sokoto, has condoled the bereaved families  and the people of Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State over the recent banditry attack which led to the loss of many lives and caused several injuries to others.

 
Sen. Wamakko, who represents Sokoto North Senatorial District, described the attack as unfortunate and ungodly, urging  that the perpetrators must be brought to book to face the wrath of the law. 
 
The Senator, while condoling the people of the area in a message sent to the press, prayed Allah the Almighty to forgive the deceased and reward them with Jannatul Firdausi as their final abode.
 
He also prayed for the quick recovery of those who sustained various degrees of injuries and are currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
 
It could be recalled that bandits ravaged some villages in Tangaza Local Government Area of the State on Saturday night and in the early hours of Sunday, where several innocent lives were reportedly lost.
 
In recent days, there was a lull in the activities of the bandits, but disturbingly, it has been observed that the bandits are gradually resurfacing in some parts of the state.
