SEN. WAMAKKO DONATES TRANSFORMER TO SOKOTO COMMUNITY

In his bid to bring  succour to the lives of the people of his  constituency in Sokoto North Senatorial District of Sokoto State, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko Sarkin Yamman, Sokoto has  donated another 300 KVA electricity transformer to the people of Mabera area.

The beneficiaries of this invaluable gesture are domiciled  around at Sheikh Musa Ayuba Lukuwa's Jumu'at Mosque, Sokoto South Local Government Area of the State. 

Sen. Wamakko, who was represented at the presentation of the power provider by Alhaji Ahmed Baba Altine explained the efforts of senator Wamakko as part of his responsibility to his constituents. 

He said that the bible gesture was also part of the sustianed efforts by Sen. Wamakko to ensure that his constituents are enjoying the dividends of democracy at all times.

Baba Altine said the donation followed  the lodging of a complaint  by the community to the Senator.

He said Sen. Wamakko in his usual magnanimity directed that a 300kva Transformer be issued to them to ease their hardship.

Baba Altine added that the residents were faced with the acute dearth of electricity supply for some times.

He charged them to ensure the good utilization of the facility, even as he charged them to safeguard it for optimal usage.

Some beneficiaries of the facility, Sani Marshall and Zayyanu Yahaya described the gesture by the Senator as timely, decrying that they had stayed in darkness for so long due to the lack of electricity.

They thanked him for his kind gesture testifying that, it  was one out of the flurry of efforts by the APC Senator towards ensuring the provision of the direly needed social amenities to improve  the lives of people in the State even after he left office as Governor.

They vowed to use the facility provided them by Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko for the benefit of the Mabera Masallacin Lukuwa's community.

The recent transformer donated was among the many doled out to various communities in Sokoto State by Sen. Wamakko.
