SDP has not enter any form of discussion or working alliance with any political party----Sokoto Secretary 
State Chapter of Social Democratic Party has expressed dismay over the recent unauthorized gathering by the Former party's Gubernatorial Candidate Senator Abubakar Umar Gada and engagement of some non registered individuals as well as using logo of the party in his alliance with ADC. 
This is contained in a release signed by the party's Secretary Dahiru Umar Aliyu after a meeting of the State party's leaders at the party's temporary office along Bauchi Road Sokoto . 
The release added that this is against earlier statement issued by the Party's National Publicity Secretary in which the Party's leadership prohibited the use of the Party's name and logo for any means without the approval of the National Working Committee of the party. 
The statement further said such actions are prohibited and are capable of misrepresentating the party's position and can attract legal actions . 
It's added that the banners and posters used for the event carried SDP and ADC which have contravene the regulations of the party.  
The statement opined that since his defeat in 2022 the former Gubernatorial Candidate has discarded the party and it's members, only to appear in the in authorized gathering in dispute. According to the State Executive Council of the party, the party has not entered any form of discussion or engagement or working alliance with any political party. 
It disregard such actions and exempteted it self from any move of this  nature.
