School Honour Gombe Winners of National Qur'anic Competitions

Aqsat School Nigeria has honoured Gombe state students who won various categories of the recent national Qur'anic competition held in Keffi, Nassarawa state.
Proprietor of the school , Dr. Auwal Abdullahi honoured the winners by organizing special feast otherwise known as 'Walima' to them.
In his speech during occasion Dr Auwal Abdullahi Gafakan Akko, commended their performance and called on others to emulates them and become a winner in the next coming Qur'anic Competition.
He urged the participating students to redouble thier efforts for them to occupy first position in the world qur'anic Competition.
Gafaka, also use the medium to called on Parents to enrolled thier childrens in schools both Religous and western knowlegde because Knowlegde is better than silver and Gold that most Parents thing of what to leave to thier child as heritage.
In his remarks, the Chief Judge of Gombe State Musabaka, Hafiz Yahaya Bello, praised the enthusiasm shown by the students, calling on them to be more determined in their pursuit of Qur'anic Knowledge.
Hafiz Yahaya, said that the knowledge of the Holy Qur'an is the most noble, explaining that those who memorised the Holy Qur'an have a special reverence in this world and the hereafter, quoting references from the Holy Qur'an and the Hadith of prophet Muhammad SAW.
In his vote of thank one of the Students Father that particiaptes in the Competition on behalf of thier Parents who is a Working Journalist with the Gombe state own media (Gombe Media Corporation) Waziri Ibrahim Saleh Kulum, thanked the teachers for their dedication in teaching their childrens praying for Allah to grant them Aljannatul Firdaus.
The students who were honored are Fatima Muhammad Abubakar who came 2nd in 10 Hizb, Hafsat Waziri Ibrahim who came 1st in 20 Hizb and Hajara Ibrahim Dan Azumi who came 5th in 60 Hizb.
An award of honor was presented to Dr. Auwal Abdullahi (Gafakan Akko) the Proprietor of the school for his service to Al-Qur'an and its people.
