Ready to Run movement take Hygiene Sensitization to GDSS Deba

The Ready to Run movement has taken Hygiene and Drugs Abuse sensitization to students of Government Junior secondary school, Deba Local Government of Gombe State.
The movement also sensitized female students on the importance of menstrual hygiene and taught them how to take care of themselves.
Pads were distributed to the female students as a lot of them cannot afford it.
The girls were taught practical steps on how to use and properly dispose it.
The movement called on the government to help aid eradication of period poverty which is a leading case as the price of pads keep surging and a lot of ladies can barely afford it.
The Team also urged the government to treat the matter with all seriousness as it’s an essential and basic need for the female gender in other to lead clean and healthy lives .
