President Bola Ahmed Tinibu expressed deep appreciation at the examplary honesty and Godly attitude demonstrated by a Zamfara female pilgrim, Hajiya Aishatu Ya'n Guru Nahuche, who returned to the owner, a lost sum of ($80,000) Dollar, equivalent to about sixty million (60m) naira while performing this year's pilgrimage.
The chairman Zamfara state 2023 Hajj committee Alhaji Musa Mallaha disclosed this while briefing newsmen on records of his committee's achievements for the management of this year's Hajj excercise.
Mallaha explains that when the news about the incidence broke out, the president became highly elated so much that he directed the National Hajj Commission to organize an NTA press interview with the lady for record keeping.
"But when the commission contacted us, the lady was already airlifted back to her home state Nigeria after completing her Hajj excercise", said Mallaha.
"We are still making that arrange in which our Zamfara state governor will be part of the ceremony when the lady will be publicly honored by the state first lady", he stressed. .
The chairman who expressed apparent happiness at the level of honesty exhibited by gentle woman, stressed that her good behavior is not only a pride to Zamfara and Nigeria as a Nation, but was by extension, a pride to the entire Muslim world.
"Honesty is one of the major devine teachings embodied in the Quran as the main guide to Muslims", he said.
