Police confirms release of kidnapped victim in Jigawa

The Jigawa state police command has confirmed the release of a 50 year old business man of kwadabe village, Kiyawa local government of Jigawa state on Wednesday.
This was confirmed by the force public relations officer DSP Shiisu Adam, added that efforts to arrest the terrorists is on the top gear.
Recall that on Monday November 21, 2021 a suspected kidnappers have stormed Kwadabe Village in Kiyawa local government area of Jigawa state and abducted a 50 years old businessman Alhaji Lawan Garba.
The Police Public relations officers in the state, DSP Shiisu Adam, made this known to Managarciya in a telephone conversation on Monday Night.
He said the police received the information by good Samaritans in the village around 10am same day, according to the PPRO immediately the officers swing into action and investigate the matter in which they confirmed the authenticity of the abduction.
Adam stated that the Kidnappers got away with the businessman's 2 cell phones.
Shiisu noted that the police would not relent in it's efforts in fishing the abductors and bring them to book.
He then called on the peoples of Jigawa state to always inform the security agencies immediately when they observed strange faces around their areas.
