PLANE-Jig. Government  Sets to Tackle Education Menace in Jigawa

Lack of a conducive atmosphere of teaching, learning  and patronizing private than public schools has been identified as the major challenges bedeviling the education sector across the country.

 
This is coming during a one day policy review on (SBMC, TRDRP, and guideline for the registration of private and community schools organized by Partnership for Learning for All in Nigeria (PLANE) a non-governmental organization in collaboration with Jigawa state universal basic education (SUBEB) in Dutse on Thursday.
 
The workshop highlighted that persons with disability and gender discrimination are the major obstacle of educational sector in northern states.
 
Against this backdrop PLANE in collaboration with the state government set out to tackle the menace.
 
Stakeholders at the workshop identified the major challenges and solutions to the problems in Kano, Katsina and Jigawa states.
