PDP-SDP members decamped to APC in Jigawa

Over 5000 PDP and SDP members decamped to All progressives congress (APC) in Kiyawa Local Govt area of Jigawa state on Saturday.

 
The decamped members were received by Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar along with his deputy Umar Namadi who is also the gubernatorial candidate of the ruling party APC shortly before the campaign ceremonies in Kiyawa.
 
The campaign leader Malam Umar Mai Allo Kiyawa who was the PDP card-carrying member said he decamped along with over five thousand supporters from the opposition parties of PDP and SDP in the local government area.
 
Mai Allo who was the former deputy Gubernatorial aspirant of SDP now decamped to APC "for the Justice played in the party", according to him.
 
In his speech, the APC Gubernatorial candidate Alh Umar Namadi called on the people of Kiyawa Local Government area to come out en-mass to vote for APC in the next coming general election.
 
Danmodi then promised to sustain the good projects executed by the present administration of Governor Badaru Abubakar and assured to improve the welfare and progress of people in the state.
 
Also in his speech, Governor Badaru Abubakar emphasized with the people of Kiyawa local government the devastating flood they experienced this year and promised to support the victims.
 
He said the presidential candidate Bola Ahamad Tinubu if elected will increase the cash transfer and other social investment programs to improve the socio-economic and welfare of the people of Jigawa and Nigeria at large.
