NAWOJ Extols Former Governor Tambuwal, Says He Is Committed, Dedicated

Sokoto State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has honored former governor Sen. Aminu Tambuwal in recognitions of his commitment per Excellence to the development of women and children in Sokoto state.
Tambuwal who received the recognition plaque on Tuesday, dedicated the honour to late Hajiya Aisha Maina, a former Chairperson of NAWOJ and a former special Adviser at the time of his administration.
Senator Tambuwal however described the honor as a gesture of generosity and encouragement to him, adding that he would continue to support and ensure a brighter future for Women and Youths in Sokoto state and Nigeria at large.
The former Governor now senator expressed gratitude for the recognition by NAWOJ and urged them to adhere strictly to the ethical standards of journalism profession.
The state chapter chairperson NAWOJ Hajiya Rakiyya Muhammad highlighted the purpose of the recognition, while appreciating the former governor's efforts for his sustained assistance and support to NAWOJ and the same time improving the lives of women and children in the state.
