People of Mafara, Bakura, Maru Bungudu, Gusau and other Local Government Areas of Zamfara state especially members and supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have continued to show their love, affection and loyalty to PDP gubernatorial candidate in the state for the forthcoming general elections, Dr, Dauda Lawal Dare.
This became more glaring on Sunday, when the candidate and his entourage entered the state in preparation of kick starting the general elections campaign.
Dr Lawan Dare and his running mate, Mani Malan Mummuni Masamar Mudi and other important dignitaries who accompanied him to Zamfara state used the opportunity to make a stop over at the Bakura junction where he was welcomed by PDP supporters in the area, he called on them to continue to stay glued for the victory of PDP come 2023.
Similarly, the PDP hopeful made a stop over at Mafara and visited the families of Rtd Captain Mairiga who was on remand in Zamfara Prison, he however gave the families support of one million naira.
Dare also branched at Maru and Bungudu local governments, and he was accorded a warm reception by PDP loyalists.
The PDP gubernatorial candidate also addressed thousands of his supporters in Gusau, where he thanked all those who came to give him a rousing welcome.
He informed the gathering that they should always bear it in mine that God's destiny is the best.
He can give him Zamfara state at ease, continuing, "those who are thinking that Dauda cannot win elections are deceiving themselves.
"We come to Zamfara and we will insha Allah flagg off our campaign, and we hope that by the grace of God we will win all the political seats, i am advising you to continue to be law abiding, as you showed us today, because we reached home without any rancour." He concludes.
