Kebbi Govt. sponsors four-day free medical outreach

As part of its unrelenting commitment to provide quality healthcare, Kebbi State Government has sponsored a four-day medical outreach to provide free medical services to the people of the state, especially vulnerable persons.
The all-important exercise will be flagged on Saturday in Birnin Kebbi by Gov. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu.
Already, a team of 22 Doctors, Nurses and other experts in the medical profession who would conduct the outreach had arrived Birnin Kebbi.
Represented by the Head of Service (HOS), Alhaji Safiyanu Garba-Bena, the Kauran Gwandu on Friday received the medical experts under the leadership of Prof. Ibrahim Yanmis.
Gov. Idris expressed happiness that the team was committed to the successful conduct of the exercise.
The team who would be in the State for four working days were expected to commence medical diagnosis and treatment for different ailments bedevilling the teeming populace of the state especially cateract and other common diseases.
In his remarks, the team leader, Prof. Ibrahim Yanmis appreciated the governor for reposing tremendous confidence in them.
Yanmis pledged that the members of the team would leave no stone unturned in working diligently to make the exercise successful.
