International Girl's Child Day: Mustapha Lamido facilitates with Jigawa Girls, plages free Eduction, and automatic employment

The Jigawa state People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido promised special scholarships to professional course students in addition to automatic employment to all first-class graduates if elected as governor in 2023.

 
The gubernatorial candidate made the disclosure in a statement issued in commemoration of this year's International Girs Child Day,  signed and made available to newsmen in Dutse the state capital by the deputy director of publicity PDP campaign directorate Malam Umar Kyari Jitsu.
 
Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido promised free girls' child education at all levels "scholarships will be paid for students of special and professional programs in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Law and other key programs".
 
In the statement, the governorship candidate also flagged sponsoring the training of the girl child to address the shortage of female medical personnel in the state.
 
According to him "on this beautiful day of the International Girl child day celebration let me seize this opportunity to felicitate and rejoice with all girls in the state in particular and Nigeria in general on this special occasion".    
 
Lamido maintained that "the safety and development of the girl child is our collective responsibility towards humankind and a better future. We must commit ourselves to work on the progress of our state by saving the girl child".
 
He noted that access to education, health care services, skills-based learning facilities, and economic empowerment are keys to the safety of the girl child and safeguarding against gender-based violence.
