Intensifying Prayers, Seeking Devine Intervention Is The Only Way To Restore Peace----Senator Yari

Former Zamfara state Governor, and  Senator representing Zamfara west senatorial District, Sanator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has said that the only way to restore peace and elimination of banditry activities in the state is to intensify prayers, and seek devine intervention. 

Senator Yari made the plea today shortly after holding a  meeting with state, local government and wards committee set up to distribute palliative packages during the last year's Ramadan period, inorder to reduce hardship amongst the people in the state. 

Yari lamented that, most of the people in the state have turned their backs against the divine and holy messages contained in the Qur'an and teachings of Prophet Muhammad which emphasize absolute need for brotherhood and selflessness.

"Imagine how most of the people are running ungodly lives in the society, they lack human feelings, they stopped being good even to their families and neighbours, to the employers and both the governments, religious and traditional leaders.

"Should we all drop wickedness and other religiously prohibited attitudes, I am certain that Almighty Allah will seize over his punishments we are currently suffering in our dear state and nation at large", Yari has stressed.

He cried that, all means of ending banditry either by the use force or dialogue by the governments but yet, the situation is fast deteriorating ti the extent that people could not run their legitimate businesses, no farming, no trading and other sources of living.

The Senator further lamented the harsh situation people are living in, the development which resulted into dearth of food to the extent they could not secure two meals a day, therefore need to be supported.
