Insecurity:- Defense Ministry To Deploy 1000 Naval Officers To Zamfara State

Minister of State for Defense, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle has announced the deployment of 1000 Naval Officers to be situated in Maradun.
Addressing the people of Maradun at his country home during a visit to Zamfara, Matawalle said already, a letter to that effect has been to the state government for further action.
"We have deployed 1000 Naval Officers to Zamfara as part of determination to fight banditry in the state", he added.
According to him, the federal government is requesting the state government to accommodate the Naval Officers at RUGA area.
Matawalle therefore, ordered the military base at Maradun to facilitate the opening of Maradun-Magami-Faru road as well as Gora-Jambako upto Kaya axis.
'I have given directives to the military base at Maradun to work hard to clear Bandits with the area without further delay.", Matawalle asserted.
The minister further said the federal government would construct a befiting special hospital in Maradun town.
He said already contact has been award for the project.
Matawalle described President Bola Tinubu as a visionary leader with commitment to the move the country forward for the betterment of the commonman.
He urged people of the state solidly rally behind the Tinubu's administration and continue praying for his success.
