Hon. Farouk accept court ruling of Jigawa APC governor ship primary election

Former Rep and majority leader in the House of representatives of Birnin Kudu/Buji federal constituency, Honourable Farouk Adamu Aliyu Birnin Kudu has accepted the APC governor ship primary election of Jigawa state.
The acceptance comes shortly after dismissal of the supreme court judgement delivered on Friday over the Jigawa state APC governor ship primary election.
He said the having indicated his interest in contesting the position of governorship candidate under the umbrella of the all progressives congress APC, " the primary election was not freely conducted as per our party constitution, INEC guidelines, electoral act 2022 and the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended" he said.
He said numerous party members, supporters and himself having been dissatisfied with the outcome of the primary elections resolved to seek for redress in the court of law, which started at the federal high court Dutse through court of appeal, Kano Division and ended today at the supreme court where all cases were dismissed.
According to him, " as a strong believer in democracy and rule of law, I have accepted the the outcome and f the judgement in good faith and urge our supporters to do the same and remain calm".
As one of the founding members and a leader of APC, Farouk alleged that him and his supporters would work for the success of presidential candidate senator Ahmad Bola Tinubu, gubernatorial candidate His Excellency Alh. Umar Namadi, the deputy governor Jigawa state, and party's candidates of the national and state assemblies.
"As one of the founding members and a leader of APC, I and my supporters would work for the success of presidential candidate senator Ahmad Bola Tinubu, gubernatorial candidate His Excellency Alh. Umar Namadi, the deputy governor Jigawa state, and party's candidates of national and state assemblies" he said.
In his comment after the court judgement, the chairman All Progressive Congress APC Jigawa state Hon Aminu Sani Gumel described the court judgement as a victory to democracy.
He said, it is allowed for a party member to seek legal redress if he is not satisfied with any process, Hon Faruku is one of our party leaders, and we commended him for accepting the court judgement in good faith.
"We called on Hon Faruku Adamu and all other party members to join hands and concentrate in campaigning for our party candidates at all levels for overwhelming victory in the forthcoming general election" Sani stated.
