Hajji 2024: Planners Airline To Airlift 1,718 Zamfara State Intending Pilgrims

The Zamfara State Hajj Commission has said that Planners Airline is the official airline that would transport the 1,718 Zamfara intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2024 hajj exercise.
This was disclosed by the permanent commissioner in charge enlightenment Daawa and hadya of the commission Alhaji Iliyasu Buhari Maijega while briefing newsmen on the level of preparation on this years hajj exercise in his office
.He said adequate arrangements have been made in collaboration with National hajj commission to ensure that zamfara pilgrims are adequately taken care of.
The permanent commissioner added that, they decided to choose the Saudi Arabian base company to airlift their intending pilgrims considering the fact that even last year the airline has successfully transported Zamfara pilgrims without hitches.
According to him, zamfara has 1718 pilgrims this is due sudden increase in the hajj fares by federal government , assured that the planners airline would work day and night to ensure that the intending pilgrims from Zamfara state have airlifted successfully.
To ensure a hitch free hajj exercise in the state, the permanent commissioner explained that various committees have been set up to ensure that the pilgrims are properly cater for both in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia as government is fully prepared for the welfare of the pilgrims,
He however mentioned some of the committees that have been set up which include, accomodation, transport, enlightenment and general welfare of the pilgrims among others.
Maijega said already various enlightenment and education program has been design to ensure that the pilgrims are well educated and enlighten about the concepts of performing acceptable pilgrimage
He said various Islamic scholars have been billed to address the pilgrims on various topics in respect of hajj exercise,he said the state has been divided into four zones for easy access to the pilgrims in various local governments.
