Kano Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, received the World Bank Country Director in Nigeria, Shubham Chaudhuri and his team at the Government House on Monday.
Making this known, Abba Kabir Yusuf shared photos on his X handle, on Tuesday, March 11,
He wrote: "Pleased to host the World Bank Country Director in Nigeria, Mr. Shubham Chaudhuri, along with his team, at the Government House yesterday.
"I used the opportunity to commend the World Bank for their various initiatives in education, healthcare, climate change and other sectors in Kano.
"I also appealed for more commitment from the Bank in Kano State, as the state government under my leadership is a committed partner for the Bank and other development partners.
"Overall, we had a great engagement, and I thank Mr. Chaudhuri and the WB team for their support. - AKY"
