Gombe Gov’t commends the military for enhancing security in the state
Said soldiers have done wonderfully well in fighting insurgency bedeviling the northern part of the country for the past 11 years. Added that WASA was initiated during the colonial period where it showcased the cultural heritage and the avenue for civilian friends to interact with soldiers. In his remark the general officer commanding 3 Div major generals I.S Ali, represented by Brigadier K.A Kazir, commended the 301 artillery for successfully hosting the 2021 WASA which took place in 2022 due to some reason , saying that the activities would enhance relationship between civilians and soldiers.

Gombe state governor Alhaji Muhamamd Inuwa Yahaya, has commended the Nigeria soldiers for their proactive measures in tackling the insecurity in the state
The governor who was represented by his Commissioner Ministry of Internal security and ethical orientation Adamu Dishi Kupto, during the annual West African support activities WASA that Holden at the 301 artillery general support barracks in Gombe at the weekend

In his remark the general officer commanding 3 Div major generals I.S Ali, represented by Brigadier K.A Kazir, commended the 301 artillery for successfully hosting the 2021 WASA which took place in 2022 due to some reason , saying that the activities would enhance relationship between civilians and soldiers.
Major general Ali, said the program which was initiated by the colonial masters has been held annually since after independence.
Added that Nigeria army collaborated with other security agency in showcasing the activities
He commended governor Inuwa Yahaya for his support in enhancing the security situation in Gombe state.
He also commended the officers and other lower ranks for their cooperation towards the success of the program.
In his welcome address acting Commander 301 Major K Bashir, said Wasa was introduced a long time ago since during the era of West African Frontier force that soldiers interact and relax together with their civilian friends.
Major Bashir, commending the efforts of the soldiers in fighting the insecurity in the country more especially the Boko Haram, Kidnapping, and the rest.
The highlight of the program is entertainment by the Traditional dancers, cultural troops, singers, thugs of war between the governors team and the commandant team which at the end the governor’s team wing
