Dr. Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu Tells Women The Only Way Can Beat Cancer Disease

Dr. Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu, the First Lady of Kebbi State in Nigeria, recently addressed a gathering of powerful women at the International Women’s Leadership Conference (TIWLC). Her speech focused on the importance of cancer awareness and the need for women to form networks to help each other beat the disease.

As a high net worth group, Dr. Bagudu urged the women to use their resources and influence to create networks that can provide support and information to other women affected by cancer. She emphasized the importance of being each other’s keepers, saying that by working together, women can improve their chances of surviving cancer and living healthy, fulfilling lives.

The event was organized by Ibukun Awosika, a successful businesswoman and the Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria. The conference was supported by Dubai Tourism and the Bank of Industry Nigeria. The conference brought together women from various industries and backgrounds to share their experiences, network, and learn from each other.

Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, with breast cancer being the most common cancer among women. Early detection is key to beating the disease, but many women in developing countries lack access to screening and treatment. This is why awareness campaigns and support networks are so important, particularly for women who may not have the resources or knowledge to seek help on their own.
