Atiku to Yobeans: if you votes for PDP, peace will return to Yobe

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate at the 2023 general election, has promised that if the people of Yobe votes for PDP, peace will return to state and make sure that, the schools are opened for uninterrupted education.
The former vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar made the pledge at the PDP’s Presidential Campaign Rally on Wednesday in Damaturu, Yobe state capital.
He added that, “We will also empower our young men and women by giving them capital to set-up businesses so that they can live a successful life."
"And also we will tackle insecurity and economic challenges in the country, if elected."
Amazed by the mammoth crowd cheering him, the candidate called on the people of the state to come out en-masse to vote for him and other candidates of the party at the February polls.
Earlier, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, Director- General, PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, called on the party’s supporters to vote for change at the forthcoming elections.
He expressed optimism that Abubakar would revive the economy having been a successful businessman of international repute.
In her remarks, Hajiya Naja’atu Muhammed, an APC stalwart, said Atiku was one of the major employers of labour in northern Nigeria.
“Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has offered scholarships to many children of less- privileged in Nigeria,” she said.
Naja'atu, therefore, enjoined Nigerians to vote for PDP candidates at all levels in the forthcoming elections.
