APC North West Leaders Hold Close Door Meeting With Zamfara APC Stakeholders

 Ahead of 2023 general elections, the leaders of All Progressive Congress APC north west zone have today visited Zamfara State and held a crucial meeting and consultations with relavant Zamfara APC stakeholders.

The aim of the meeting is to bring unity among the party members in the state and to find simple ways on how to win 2023 general elections.

Aswering questions from  journalists shortly after the meeting, the Zonal Chairman of the Party, Malam Salihu Lukman, said the  stakeholders meeting is just to cement soor relationship among party members if  any.

He said the North-West region remained the strongest hope of the party in the upcoming 2023 general elections, hence the need for wider consultation among stakeholders.

According to him, the  APC National Headquarters mandated them  to visit all states under North-West zone, to discuss with stakeholders on ways to move the party forward.

He lamented that every body  knows that, the North West region is  the most strong hope of political victory in the country. And they  are committed to ensure victory of their great party in the region.

“This is the right time for consultations, we are consulting all stakeholders for the success of the party in 2023 general elections, as such we visited Kebbi and Sokoto States before we came Zamfara State" he said.

According to him, the party is emphasising promotion of unity, peace and stability as well as dispute resolution and reconcile aggrieved party members.

He said the party has no problem in Zamfara considering the recent reconciliation between Gov. Bello Matawalle and his predecessor, Abdul’aziz Yari.

The Chairman said the party was proud with the peaceful conduct of stakeholders which led to the successful conduct of primary elections in the state.

Lukman added that leaders of the party at all levels must work towards promoting unity among its members in spite of the successes recorded in the region.

“We believe the visit will boost the party’s strength ahead of 2023 general elections,” he said, and thanked the governor and other relavant stakeholders for making it strong in the state.

Shading more lights, Gov, Matawalle of Zamfara State, who was represented by State APC Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani commended the zonal leaders for the visit.

He described the gesture as a moral booster for the party’s strength in the state.

“The APC remained strongest political party in the state, the opposition political party has no chance of winning elections in Zamfara,’’ he concluded
