APC National Chair:Group Canvasses Support For Goje

A political group 'The National Initiative for Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje' has sought the support of the stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Goje as the next national chairman of the party in the forthcoming convention.
National chairman of the group Comrade Ahmed Afauwala sought the stakeholders' support for Goje when he led other members of the group to a visit to the elected chairman of APC of Kano state at his residence in Kano Alhaji Ahmad Haruna Danzago.
He explained that the visit was part of their tour across the country to canvas support for their candidate.
Afauwala asked the stakeholders to prevail on the former governor to accept to join the chairmanship race in the upcoming convention.
"Goje as a former minister of power, two terms elected governor of Gombe state and three terms Senator where he currently represents Gombe central at the red chamber has the capacity to run the affairs of the party and the party to scale through in 2023.
"We want you to support our movement and the aspiration of Senator Goje as next APC national chairman". He stated.
In his response Alhaji Ahmad Haruna Danzago, said it is good in politics to endorse a competent person for a position.
He said Goje with his wealth of experience is qualified for the post.
