AFAN set to tackle farmers herders clashes, create dams to manage flood in Jigawa

The All farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) Jigawa state chapter is set to tackle farmers and herders clashes in some parts of Jigawa state.
Chairman of the association Engineer Auwalu Ibrahim Birnin Kudu made the pledge in Dutse shortly after their inauguration as newly AFAN leaders of Jigawa on Tuesday.
He said the association will collaborate with Miyatti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) Jigawa state chapter in order to find lasting solution over the clashes between the two parties.
Engineer said on the flood issues, they will work with government and other private organizations to find solution of containing the flood in it's Zone.
Inaugurating the newly members, the national president of the association Alh. Faruq Rabiu Mudi said jigawa people should expect good result from the newly swarned in exco.
Faruk said farmers should be respected and recognized across Nigeria because they are always creating wealth and Job to Nigerians.
Explained that they ware on board to served the people of Jigawa people assure that farming will be like every other business.
